Love, Loving Behavior, and Unconditionality as defined by Stefan Deutsch

The following are excerpts from Stefan Deutsch’s forthcoming book – Loving At Will…..

Why does it hurt so much when we are deprived of someone’s love? Whether it is done by a significant other, a spouse, a parent, a child, a sibling or a friend! Whether it is done only for a minute, or for months or years.

The only logical reason that explains this is that what we call love is actually an energy we need. In fact the only other things we respond to the same way, feel the same pain of deprivation, is when we are deprived of air, food, and water. These 3 have life-sustaining energies – using our logic again has us conclude that love (loving energy) is also a life sustaining energy.
